At the beginning of the 'loop' is the trading division of the PVC Group plc, Polyimpex, able to offer a comprehensive range of raw materials.

Primary activity is in PVC, both resins and our own manufactured compounds. We also supply in-house produced polypropylene compounds, polyolefins, styrenics and chemicals.

We have extensive knowledge of import and export practices worldwide with special regard to incoterms and financial instructments such as Letters of Credit.

Polyimpex represents Grupo primes as official agents in the UK, Ireland and Southern Africa.  Grupo Primex is a leader in Mexico's main industries as the largest producer of PVC resin.

As the UK's largest independent supplier of PVC resin, currently in excess of 70kt per annum, large stocks are constantly held in both the UK and Ireland enabling the group's extensive transport fleet to provide immediate delivery for either bagged of bulk requirements to any destination.

Polyimpex compliments our inhouse PVC manufacturing with the supply of raw materials, production of which includes rigid and flexible compounds as well as dry blends in excess of 100kt per annum.  Further manufacturing facilities for the production of filled polypropylene compounds and thermoplastic rubber ensure that customer requirements are promptly met.

We have excellent supply positions of polyethylene, polypropylene, styrenics and a wide range of chemicals including phthalic anhydride, stabilisers, antimony trioxide and esbo.
